Happy Halloween!

Wishing everyone a safe, happy and DRY Halloween!  Here's a finger play you can sing with your child to celebrate today.  Encourage your child to imitate the motions.

5 Little Pumpkins

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate
(Hold up five fingers)
The first one said, "Oh my it's getting late!"
(Point to your watch or wrist)
The second one said, "There are witches in the air."
(Make a flying motion with your hand)
The third one said, "But we don't care!"
(Shrug your shoulders)
The fourth one said, "Let's run and run and run!'
(Pump your arms like you're running)
The fifth one said, "I'm ready for some fun!"
 (Throw your hands up in the air)
Oooooohhh went the wind,
(Blow air out of your mouth)
And out went the light,
(Clap your hands)
And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight!
(Making a rolling motion with your arms)
